medication you may be taking.
We can provide advice on common ailments, treatments and medicines
for you. We have a wide range of medicinal and healthcare products available, many
of which you can only buy from a pharmacy.

At Pulse Pharmacy we aim to serve all our patients healthcare needs. If you wish,
you can talk in confidence to the pharmacist about all common ailments and their
treatment and how perhaps we can help you lead a healthier lifestyle.
A Medicines Use Review is an annual chance for you to sit down and have a private, face-to-face, informal conversation with the pharmacist about your medicines. By the end of the MUR you rsquo;ll know more about your medicines and what they do and feel confident your medicines are now working to benefit your health. The MUR is free and will usually last around 10 minutes. It is completely confidential and you and your GP will receive a record of the discussion.
This is available for free as an NHS service for people between the ages of 40 and 74 and also available as a private service for those not eligible under the NHS scheme. The health check is confidential and will take approximately 20 to 30 minutes during which your pharmacist will take the following measurements:
- Body Mass Index (BMI)
- Blood Pressure
This is an NHS service for people, including children, who do not pay prescription charges. It means that if our Pharmacist thinks you need it then they can give you a medicine on the NHS without you having to pay for it. It will also save you making an appointment with your GP simply to get a prescription. Minor ailments could include: colds, coughs, headaches, hay fever, insect bites, earache and diarrhoea
We have highly trained staff at the pharmacy to support you in your journey towards a smoke free life. The service is free and we can in addition to offering free help and advice, provide you support and advise on a wide range of nicotine replacement products, helping you pick the one that would best suit you and your lifestyle.
